Programmer turned wood-turner, what a cliche I am :)

I spend my entire life as a programmer and musician. But IT life is harder than you might think, especially if you make your own business. I ended up with a nervous breakdown, following antidepresants... at some point a tree fell on our new garden. When I looked at the wood, something clicked... and I just needed to make something of it. So I bought a saw and started cutting it somehow, you know, emotionally :). Wasn't sure what I want, but still.
Then I saw a video on YT of someone woodturning and I was like "yeah, I'm gonna do that". I bought a small lathe and without knowing anything started to do "something". So yeah, small bowls were flying allover my garage, sometimes hitting me, sometimes not. That's I figured I have to learn a bit if I want to survive :). So I started taking courses and stuff, and got completely obsessed by it. Making big bowls & vases is my favourite.
But now my house is full of my creations and my 7-years old doughter is telling me, that I need to sell it, not create more. What a wise girl :). So, I'm here!
